During the Oscars, I couldn't help thinking that someone should make a parody song for Vicky Cristina Barcelona to the tune of Schoolhouse Rock's "Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla." :)

Heath Ledger won a Golden Globe for his performance as the Joker! I sort of thought he might, given the way the awards were designated (putting him in the Supporting Actor category, as opposed to Best Actor, where Mickey Rourke was a sentimental favorite ( Read more... )

I don't have much to say about 'em as most of the wins were predictable, but I will say that Dolly Parton still has it. Just all by herself, I think her performance of "Travelin' Thru" from Transamerica was my favorite moment of the night.
